Enough with this bullshit sentiment “perdimos con la frente en alto” I’m tired of hearing that. I would have preferred a 10-0 loss as long as we were trying to go for the win from the very first whistle, ––– you can win at least one game out of 100 (like the chance Suarez gambled for with his hands). The way we played would never give us a win; 3 holding midfielders + players who can’t score all around while leaving Cavani and Forlan alone upfront with no surrounding creativity ––– this style of play was not to my liking. If you play 200 games employing those tactics, they would give us 200 loses, but we can hold our heads up high because we lost with dignity, if that makes you feel better? Great, it doesn’t do the job. I want to play to win, if I win, I don’t care how since I’m a winner, if I lose, I don’t care how since I’m a loser. all I care about is the win, and you get more probabilities of actually winning by going for the win. This team always tried NOT TO LOSE, instead of going for the win. And I’m tired of the media’s bullshit., that we’re the best team in America now.
NACHO FOR THE THIRD PLACE MATCH. 4-2-3-1, this formation can switch to any formation easily, it’s modern football, Nacho advances and it’s 4-4-2. The wingers advance and it’s 4-3-3. And generally it’s a 4-5-1; so it’s a solid midfield, which can adapt to any situation, lets evolve. FRANCE PLAYED LIKE THIS VS URUGUAY, HOLLAND TOO!!! The dream is over, lets play like men.
